When I started practicing yoga, I loved it! But I was also nervous and intimidated. And let’s be honest, that’s a real feeling for a lot of people. You want the benefits of yoga — to feel calmer, stronger, more balanced — but walking into a class when you’re new can feel a little… overwhelming.
That’s exactly why we created Beginner 101 Yoga. This series was designed to guide and coach you through the basics, from breath to body, in a supportive, down-to-earth space. You’ll learn how to move safely, use props with confidence, and build the steady, consistent practice your mind and body have been craving.
Led by: Ann Hanks
Sundays 2:00–3:15 pm
January 18th – February 22nd

Over six weeks, Ann will guide you step-by-step through the fundamentals of yoga. Each class builds on the last, helping you feel confident, steady, and supported in your practice.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and breathe. Most people practice barefoot, which helps with balance and connection to your mat, but socks are always welcome if that’s what makes you feel most at ease. Grip socks can even give you a little extra stability, but regular socks are fine too.
If you have your own please feel free, but the series includes all mats and props to support your journey. Do be sure to bring water to stay hydrated.
